Bab El Mansour

Bab el-Mansour is the monumental gateway to Meknès’ imperial city, built during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail and completed under his son Moulay Abdallah. With its imposing scale, detailed zellige and mosaic decoration, and distinctive green-and-white tiles, the gate is one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks and a must-see when exploring the Old Medina.
